  • Green space: Plantings, street trees, rain gardens and other improvements to make the corridor greener, better looking, and more environmentally sustainable.
  • Walking improvements: Improvements to make it safer, more convenient, and more comfortable to walk, such as increased separation from traffic, improved sidewalks, curb extensions, or pedestrian islands/medians.
  • Biking improvements: Improvements to make it safer and more comfortable to ride a bike, such as shared use paths, protected bikeways, and bikeway signs and markings.
  • Placemaking: Improvements to make this place feel more safe, welcoming, and useful such as benches, public art, gardens, and places to gather.
  • Traffic calming: Improvements to better manage vehicle speeds such as traffic circles, bumpouts, medians, traffic diverters, and closing the block to vehicle traffic.
  • Opportunity area: Tell us about the issues and opportunities you see along the greenway corridor. What would you love to see this project accomplish? Where are the problem areas?
