Why create a long range plan?

Harriet Island Regional Park’s last long range plan was written over thirty years ago. Updating the vision for the park will ensure future investments reflect community desires for the special waterfront park near downtown Saint Paul.

• Engage community members in a variety of ways to get feedback
• Balance the amenities and programs within the parks to maximize use and enjoyment
