Why create a long range plan?

Harriet Island Regional Park’s last long range plan was written over thirty years ago. Located in the West Side of Saint Paul, this park holds significant connections and shared histories between people and place. Updating the vision for the park will ensure future investments reflect community desires for this special place along the Mississippi River for future generations.
