Clatsop County is creating a Transportation Safety Action Plan (TSAP) to work towards eliminating all fatal and serious injury crashes in the County. Shaped by community input, the plan aims to create a transportation system where everyone can travel safely, whether they drive, walk, roll, bike, or take public transportation. Once implemented, the plan will guide decisions and investments to reduce crashes and eliminate traffic fatalities on all roads across the County.
Goals
Our community-based Task Force is developing a vision statement and goals using Clatsop County's unique geography and community needs along with the Safe System Approach as guides. The Safe System Approach focuses on building multiple safety features into roads to better protect drivers, passengers, and pedestrians.
